Occupation Health Services
All doctors at BHMC have considerable experience in the field of Occupational Health
and injury management.
Dr Geoff Gidley has a graduate diploma in Occupational Health and has been the consultant medical advisor for Cadbury Schweppes for over 20 years.
We are able to provide a full range of occupational health services including:
- Pre-employment medical assessments which can include audiometry, spirometry, vision testing, and a comprehensive range of health and fitness assessments tailored to the organization's needs.

Injury/Illness intervention and rehabilitation. This includes acute injury management with facilities to manage lacerations, fractures and other acute injuries. We encourage early and appropriate return to work and are happy to liaise with employees and return to work
co-ordinators. We can manage long term cases, provide medico-legal reports and assist with case/claims management.

Health and Fitness screening and programs can be devised to meet specific company requirements. This could include general lifestyle assessments of employees, or executive health screening. We can provide on-site education and health promotion programs such as skin cancer screening, diabetes testing, etc.

Overseas Travel Health Services, which includes pre and post travel health assessments, vaccinations, and travel health advice.

Vaccination programmes such as annual influenza vaccination of staff on-site.
- Statutory medical assessments for forklift drivers, dangerous goods drivers, chemical exposures, etc.
We are able to provide services both at the clinic or if appropriate, on site, and are happy to discuss the needs of any organisation in relation to
