Box Hill Medical Centre has a Health Department Accredited vaccination service for people travelling overseas. Conveniently located in the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne our doctors provide a comprehensive travel health service for worldwide travel. A full range of vaccinations including Yellow Fever, Typhoid, Cholera, Meningococcal, Hepatitis B and Hepatitis A is available. These vaccinations do attract a cost. Other vaccinations such as Tetanus, Diphtheria, Whooping Cough and Polio are available at no cost. General advice for safe travel is included in the consultation(s) and a travel kit covering common travel conditions is available for purchase is required. For travel within Australia the consultation should be no less than one week prior to travel and for international travel no less than five weeks prior to departure, except when travel is required urgently. When making an appointment, please tell the reception staff that the purpose is for travel advice so that adequate time can be scheduled for the consultation.
