COVID- 19 vaccines help to prevent serious illness and death from COVID- 19, and they are free for everyone in Australia.


Box Hill Medical Centre is pleased to advise that we are an approved vaccination provider for COVID-19 vaccines. We are happy to help provide COVID-19 immunisation for our local area and wider community.


Vaccine rollout

Covid -19 vaccines are being rolled out in phases. To find out if you are eligible to receive the vaccine now, please visit and complete the checklist.


Phase 1b priority population groups include:

  • People 70 years of age or older.
  • Health care workers.
  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander adults over 55 years.
  • Younger people with an underlying medical condition, including people with a disability.
  • Critical and high-risk workers, including Australian Government officials about to be deployed overseas on official government business.


We have been advised that our vaccination program will commence after Easter and we will initially be running vaccine clinics from 12 pm – 1:30 pm Monday to Friday.  When it is your turn to get vaccinated, please call our reception team to book your appointment to get your vaccination.

The practice was originally established in 1883 when Dr William Dickinson began practising in Box Hill. It would have been inconceivable to him that the practice would still be in existence well over 100 years later and have nine medical practitioners as well as a number of allied health providers as part of the team.
